Lafayette Square

Of the twenty-two squares in the historic district of Savannah, we visited about fifteen. Heading south on the west side of Colonial Park Cementary and past The Cathedral of  St John the Baptist one comes upon Lafayette Square, which offers a fountain similar to many seen in the south. A calm vision of southern charm in the early morning with live oak and Spanish moss.
