View from Buschenschank

It was steamy in Brooklyn and I desired a refreshing wheat beer, so ordered a Maisel’s Weisse, which really slaked my thirst. I had passed Buschenschank, at 320 Court Street earlier in the day, btween Cobble  Hill and Carroll Gardens, on my walk out to Brooklyn Bridge Park from Park Slope.

The place was open to the air on another perfect spring day in Brooklyn. I had ordered the red cabbage salad, a huge portion of red cabbage dressed with walnuts and cranberries and vinegar and oil, refreshing and not too filling.
