I thought I had given up the dish for good after Katz’s Delicatessen in NYC, but the lamb pastrami at Mosaic at Broad Apetit changed my mind. Juicy, tender, succulent, tangy and perfectly spiced.
And washed down with a great summer sour ÜBerlin beer from Strangeways to cleanse the palate.
Too bad these three and five dollar plates are not available year round at these great restaurants. A couple of these appetizers would be the perfect amount of food.
