Puigmarti Vermutaria, Gracía, Barcelona

The rain at Park Güell gave me an excuse to have a vermouth in midafternoon. I had passed Puigmarti Vermutaria in the Gracía district (C/ Puigmarti, 12) yesterday after having had a couple of cervezas. They have been open only two weeks and have a selection of tapas with including combinations of green olives, roasted red peppers, anchovies, sardines or other seafood.

Served with a local hot sauce, Salsa Espinaler and some sesame crackers. And the house sweet red vermouth with an orange slice and an olive was very refreshing.

Very delicious and worth visiting if you are in Barcelona.
