With the Virginia peach harvest season upon us, I was struck by the variety of foods preserving
in the refrigeraror.
1. Cucumber slices in Famous Dave’s Devils spit brine.
2. Tomato and sweet onion salsa with spicy barbecue dauce and Tabasco chipotle hot sauce.
3. Kim chi pickled beets.
4. Peach slices imbibing orange, clove infused rum.
