Antique Bakery, Jersey City

I was walking a new neighborhood in Jersey City and found the fabulous, work a day Antique Bakery (the former Pecoraro Bakery) just around the corner.

Although the traditional white flour rolls have little nutritional value, they are really tasty, hard crust and soft center. They would be perfect for making that favorite Barcelona appetizer, pan de coca, a hearty baguette-style bread with olive oil, garlic, crushed tomatoes and salt.
