Bar Virage, 2nd Ave, NYC

My project somewhat unexpectedly ended–I guess they all do– so on my last night I took my last PATH train to Manhattan and walked in the rain over to 2nd Avenue where I found Bar Virage and its Israeli small plates of matbucha (Moroccan tomatoes and peppers), Israeli salad (diced tomato, cucumber, herbs and tahini–I knew an Israeli sesame breeder at the IAEA) and tzatziki with mint AND dill.

Served with olives, pickles and pita. Pro secco on tap. Very tasty. Stop by.
