Planting ginger

The ginger I had found at the Union Square Green Market and potted indoors seemed to have vanished into the dirt after a couple of weeks. An other-worldly occurrence. Luckily, later that same day, while in search of the very seasonal Zwetschgen (Italian prune plums), I found some recently harvested ginger on ice at Elmwood Thompson’s market.

Hopefully this planting will be more succesfull.
