Plant-based chili

I found a vegetarian chili recipe in the Sunday Times that included garbanzo beans instead of meat so I was interested in giving it a try. Onions, mushrooms, chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, chili powder and cumin reduced for a couple of hours before the addition of garbanzo beans, pinto beans, broccoli florets, and frozen mixed veggies.

Very tasty on a cold day acted walking back and forth to the Virginia General Assembly downtown.
