I had a delicious Thanksgiving
but did not get any simple, traditional, baked sweet potatoes. I had the sweet potatoes on hand as well as some bacon and some nice turkey bon broth so figured a sweet potato soup would suffice. This also required a new-to-me spice mix from the Middle East and North Africa called Ras el Hanout.
The sweet potato soup was pretty darn tasty, although the chopping, mixing and cooking took closervto an hour than a half hour.
